Automatic Hollowing and Print Prep

Lucentra leverages cloud computing and Carbon’s proprietary hollowing algorithm to remove unnecessary volume from aligner models, meaning that each model may consumes up to 40% less resin while still being rigid enough to withstand thermoforming pressures. After digitally hollowing the models, they’re automatically sorted, labeled, and efficiently packed on an L1 build plate.

Solventless Post-Processing

Lucentra for clear aligner models makes post-processing easy and is designed to eliminate solvents like IPA using a high rpm spinner. The spinner makes scaling production simple and far more cost-effective and was designed to save the cost of IPA, reclaim excess resin for future use, and eliminate the need to store and dispose of IPA.
